Full Description
Optimized for power and performance
The JBL JRX215 speaker is engineered to handle the rigors of live performances with its powerful 15-inch low-frequency driver. The edgewound ribbon voice coil increases the cross-sectional wire area in the voice coil gap, enhancing both efficiency and power handling. This design ensures that the speaker delivers robust sound with deep bass and crisp, clear audio even at high volume levels.
High-definition audio clarity
A key feature of the JRX215 is its 25mm polymer diaphragm compression driver that boosts high frequency performance and overall system reliability. This component, coupled with the advanced network topology crossover, shapes the frequency response for coherent summation in the crossover region, providing a smooth and balanced sound across all frequencies.
Advanced sound dispersion
This speaker system includes a Progressive Transition high frequency waveguide that offers superior coverage control and reduced distortion, leading to smoother frequency response. The waveguide’s design ensures that sound is distributed evenly across the audience area, making it ideal for venues that require clear sound projection to the back rows.
Durable and reliable construction
Constructed from 19 mm thick MDF, the JRX215’s enclosure is built to endure the challenges of live events and demanding environments. Advanced adhesives and mechanical fasteners provide extreme durability and enhance the low-frequency performance. Additionally, the SonicGuard feature protects the high frequency driver from excess power without affecting performance. The speaker’s rugged design is completed with non-resonant, all-steel handles and a tough 18-gauge steel grille, ensuring it remains in top condition gig after gig. The dual-angle pole-mount socket enhances setup flexibility, allowing for better audience coverage by tilting the speaker 10 degrees.
