The K8.2 Features

QSC K8.2 active loudspeaker is designed to give you power and clarity. The K8.2 premium loudspeaker delivers accurately any signal going through it- from the detailed nuances of vocals or the crispness of cymbals, to the full body of a guitar or a bass sound. The K8.2 state of the art technology

The loudspeaker also uses Intrinsic Correction; this runs in the background running the average of thousands of spatial loudspeaker measurements mapped to the internal processor of the loudspeaker to give a smooth and accurate sound across the loudspeaker’s playback.
Its best-in-class, 2000-watt Class-D amplifier helps to set them apart from other loudspeakers, being able to project sound to fill an entire room, while maintaining dynamics even at louder volumes. Reaching a max SPL of 128 dB and an impressive 122 dB continuously (trust us that’s loud!), the K8.2 does so with extremely low distortion, providing an excellent audio reproduction at any level.

The K8.2 also features on-board DSP (Digital Signal Processing). This on-board processor allows you to change parameters within your loudspeaker. For example, pre-defined EQ patterns allow you to match the way you are using your loudspeaker, or to adapt to the venue you are in. You can even save and recall these settings if you’re frequently using them, so if you’re setting up at the same places you can be ready quickly! You can also adjust other functions like the crossover with your sub, and even delays compensating for multiple loudspeakers at varying distances!

The K8.2 is built to last with its heavy-duty ABS enclosure, making it both durable and hardwearing. This is all backed by the QSC 6-year warranty when you register your loudspeaker with them. These loudspeakers can be operated as either main PA or as floor monitors. They can also be flown, wall- or truss-mounted, or placed on a loudspeaker pole either straight-firing or with a 7.5-degree down-tilt – depending on your individual needs.
